EBR Schools Weather Update

Due to the storms strengthening overnight, school power outages, and impacts to transportation, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System will be closed today, Tuesday, May 18. Out of an abundance of caution, all district offices will also be closed today. The district will continue to examine severe weather impacts throughout the day to determine whether or not graduation ceremonies need to be rescheduled. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to make the best decisions possible under these unpredictable circumstances.
