GOOOO PINK DAY! in honor of Mrs. Rita Jones, Kindergarten Teacher. Students can wear pink shirts Thursday, October 25, 2018, for a $1 donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Dear Parents,
This month we have been learning about the author Eric Carle in K-2 grade. We have read many of his books and learned about his particular type of hand painted art. Our 3-5 graders have been conducting research on the topic of erosion and the planets. Second-Fifth grade students have been checking out books at their regular scheduled library time. Ask them what a “Sammy” is. AR is taking a whole new look this year. To spread the competition grade levels will be competing against each other. We will have Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners. As a result the Gold winners will earn a party (nacho, pizza, movie, popcorn, etc.) Encourage your child to read! Our program for K-1 is called Bookit through Pizza Hut. Your child’s teacher will be sending home this information shortly. Regards, M.Benoit Library Media Specialist Audubon Elementary Fundraiser packets are due on Thursday, October 18th.
Please make sure you turn in all money and order forms to your child's teacher. Thank you for supporting our AES fundraiser!! |
